Schedule of Events:
- Wednesday, November 28
Morning -- Magnet Coordinator Tracey Wyatt will speak on our status as a Vanguard School and what that means to WUES.
Evening -- Local author Deborah Blumenthal will read and sign some of her fabulous books. The WUES Violinists will perform, and two "mystery teachers" will read! This is a good night for students in grades K, 4 and 5 to attend.
- Thursday, November 29
Morning -- Coffee with Mr. Threet and our new librarian, Polly Kotarba
Evening -- Local author Susan Mitchell will read and sign her wonderful books after spending the day with our first through fourth graders at school. The WUES Choir will perform, and two "mystery teachers" will read! This is a good night for students in grade 1, 2 and 3 to attend.
- Friday, November 30
Morning -- Robin Ward will speak on Math and Literacy. Elaine Whitley of ESA will speak on standardized tests (how to interpret them and what they mean).
Evening -- Magician Professor Snape will perform!!
